Admission
Water park admission is not included in the cost of stay at Hope Lake Lodge. Thursdays and Sundays we are open to the public. $35 person, 42” or smaller are $32, 1 and under are free.

Advertising
There are many advertising opportunities in the waterpark. Please contact the waterpark manager for details on advertising with us, jtroutman@greekpeakmtnresort.com.

Arcade, Starlight
Starlight Arcade is 2000 square feet of arcade glory. The arcade is open to non-overnight guests that are visiting Waterfalls Spa or The Acorn Grill. Tokens are 4 for $1.00 and we have 50 feet of redemption merchandise up for grabs.

ATM
There is an ATM available for use in the lobby.

Big Bear Falls

This feature includes a 500-gallon deluge bucket, two slides, and many spray features for your family to douse each other with water.

Birthdays
Cascades Waterpark does offer birthday parties. See the birthday section for package pricing and call x 1180 or x1501 for reservations.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms are available on the upper deck at the end of the water park, and in Starlight Arcade in the back.

Beverages
A full line of adult and non-alcoholic beverages are available from Edgewater Café. Beverages may be brought into the pools as long as they have lids on them. Food must be purchased within the waterpark and not brought from outside.

Buzzer

Every 20 minutes a loud buzzer sounds to signal the beginning of the waves.

Casts

Waterproof casts are permitted in the waterpark. Guests with casts may only ride Rapids 5 on a single tube (if they meet the height requirements). They may not ride a double tube or any body slides.

Changing Rooms
Men’s and Women’s changing rooms are available near the waterfall feature of the wave pool. The changing rooms are unisex and located at the back of the locker room area. There are also changing rooms with showers in the back of either the Men’s or Women’s bathrooms.

Corporate Events

Cove

This pool features two basketball hoops and four basketballs with a waterfall feature.

Donations
We try to fill donation request as much as possible but there are times when we are not able to. For further information contact our Marketing Director at 1-800-955-2754.

Extractors, Swim Suit

Each waterpark bathroom features a swimsuit extractor. This device quickly removes the water from your bathing suit. Its purpose is to extend the life of your suit by removing all the chlorinated water. It also keeps the rest of your luggage dry while traveling.

Family Reunions
We want your family to visit here! There are a variety of ski, splash, and stay packages available for you when booking your family reunion. Contact a Catering Sales Specialist at 1-800-955-2754, x1272 to book your reunion.

First Aid

Our first aid station is located on the upper deck before the bathrooms. Please find a lifeguard for immediate first aid assistance.

Food
Edgewater Café is located in the waterpark and offers a full line of delicious meals and snacks. No outside food is permitted.

Fundraising
Charities can hold fundraising events in the waterpark during certain times of the year. Contact a Sales Professional at 1-800-955-2754, x1180 or x1501 for more information.

Glass

Glass is strictly prohibited from the waterpark for safety purposes.

Groups

We offer special group rates to school field trips, sports banquets, scout groups, church groups, and more. Call for more information.

Hours
Cascades is open 10am—7pm Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday are 10 am to 10 pm. Sunday 10am to 9pm. During periods of low occupancy we close early. Please ask any employee about the closing hours of the waterpark prior to your stay or once you arrive. Monday through Friday from 10am till 12:30pm the wave pool, spa, big bear, and little bear are open, from 12:30pm until close everything is open.

Hot Tub

Hot Springs Spa is the perfect place to relax while at Cascades waterpark. The spa is both indoors and outside! The outside section offers a stunning view of the lobby silhouetted by Virgil Mountain and the Greek Peak slopes.

Children under 13 are not permitted without and adult (18 +).

Children that are in diapers or not potty-trained are not permitted.

Lockers
Your guest room key does not work on the lockers. We use a wristband purchased from Edgewater Café for the locker keys. A small locker costs $5, and a large lockers costs $8. The locker is good for one day only and expires at the closing of the waterpark.

Lifejackets

Lifejackets are available free of charge near the beach front of Whitewater Wave Pool. Personal lifejackets may be used at Cascades if they are US coast guard approved.

Lifeguards
The lifeguards are there to help you. They are trained through Jeff Ellis and Associates. The lifeguards will ensure that your stay with us is safe.

Little Bear Falls

This pool is 1 foot deep and features a pink slide that toddlers and young children will love.

Northwoods Outdoor Pool

This pool is 3.0-4 feet deep and is heated year round! Enjoy views of Virgil Mountain while swimming outside during a snow flurry.

Park Rentals
We offer private park rentals during our non-operational hours. Ideas for events include: after prom parties, youth ministry overnights, after graduation parties, and corporate events.

Parking
Parking is through valet or anywhere on the side of the hotel. Access is still only through Starlight Arcade.

Payment
The following forms of payment are accepted: cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Cashier checks may be used by groups and birthday parties and must be received on the day of the event.

Shuttle
A shuttle operates to and from Greek Peak ski slopes during the winter.

Smoking
Smoking is permitted in a designated smoking area just outside of the waterpark. Exit the hotel from the second floor just by the elevators. Take a left and you’ll see the signs for the smoking area under the porch. Thank you for your kind consideration of our guest’s families by using this area only for smoking.

Supervision
Children under 48” are required to be supervised by a responsible adult (18+).

Swimwear
Proper swimwear is required. No cut offs jeans. No shorts with metal clasps. No full length pants.

Temperature
The air and water temperature is 84 Degrees, all year long.

Towels
Complimentary towels are available in the waterpark. They are located on the upper deck near the bathrooms. Towels are returned to a blue bin next to the fresh towels.

Tubes
Clear tubes are available for use in Whitewater Wavepool. We have single and double green tubes for Rapids 5. All tubes are free of charge.

Water Quality

The water quality is monitored electronically and checked by hand many times during open hours. We have chlorinated water, huge sand filters, and UV light sanitizers on all of our pool systems.

Whitewater Wavepool

The wavepool offers three types of waves. Diamond, rolling, and extended rolling waves. The waves are on for 15 minute intervals and then rest for 5 minutes.

Wristbands
Wristbands must be worn at all times while in the waterpark.  They are non-transferable and not for resale. If your wristband breaks, return it to the front desk for a replacement. Anyone present without a wristband will be asked to leave.

Each band has an RFID chip in it that allows it to be programmed for your guest room and to allow room charges easily.
