ABT: Our Award Winning Learn-to-Ski/Ride Program, developed exclusively for School Programs

Activities Based Training "ABT" is an award winning (National Ski Area Association Best Practices) program that uses fun and festive activity courses as a method to improve the skiing/riding abilities of participants. There are three different proficiency levels (Green, Blue & Black) of activities set up for 5 weeks of the 6 week program. Each activity is designed to equip students with the skills needed to efficiently handle whatever the mountain has to offer; be it bumps, glades, steeps, cruisers, terrain park features or varied conditions due to weather. Participants who try the activities will be awarded a small prize at the finish, as well as receive their proficiency sticker. They will also have their passes scanned, automatically entering their names into random weekly and grand prize drawings. Weekly prizes may include T-shirts, Bags, Beanies and more. Grand prize winners can receive skis, snowboards or iPods.

First time skiing/riding participants

Never been on skiis or a snowboard before? No worries! First-timers will have traditional beginner lessons for the first two weeks (and every week if needed) at the base of the Alpha slope. This will allow students to learn the fundamental skills needed before attempting any of the activities.

Learn to Ski at Greek Peak Mountain Resort

The activity courses will remain in the same locations each week. However, the challenges within each course will vary from week to week. Students, Parents and Advisors can preview the next week's challenges as well as see last week's prize winners both online at www.greekpeakmtnresort.com and at the resort. There will be three sign boards posted with activity details and prize winner information at different locations within the base area: one in the bus lane, one upstairs in the Katalima, and one in the rental shop.
