Babysitting @ Hope Lake Lodge

All ages welcome! Every child will love our Activity Center with its wide variety of play materials and great forest mural. You'll love the location (1st floor between Waterfalls Spa & the Fitness Center), convenient to any room in the lodge, no need for bundling up the kids (in winter), and we are always a phone call away to check in on them. So, schedule your spa appointment, lunch date, ski break or workout now.

Reservations are highly recommended so adequate staff is available to care for your child. Call 800-955-2754 ext. 1160 for details and availability.

Babysitting daily in the Bearfoot Den Activities Center. Fees do apply.

Disc Golf-Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter

A new and exciting craze has hit Greek Peak Mountain Resort...some call it Frisbee Golf, Disc Golf or Frolf. Check it out our new 9-hole course offers switchbacks, uphill challenges, downhill drops, pond and creek obstacles, left-handed corners and righty-tighty turns. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the new craze happening all across the country. A nominal fee applies.

Fishing-Spring, Summer & Fall

Hope Lake is a recreational lake located right next to Hope Lake Lodge. It's well stocked with sport fish including perch, crappies, sunnies, bass, and brown and rainbow trout. Rowboats are available for rental and include mandatory flotation vests. Fishing line and bait are available at the Life Guard Station. Fishing is a fun family activity and a way to kick back and relax. Once you experience the wonder of a nibble on your line, you'll find yourself hooked!

Mountain Biking-Spring, Summer & Fall

Bring your own bike or rent a mountain bike from us, here at Hope Lake Lodge, to explore the miles of trails surrounding Hope Lake and Greek Peak. We have low graded trails that are perfect for the whole family, and steeper, expert level biking trails for those looking for a fun challenge. Mountain biking is a favorite activity among many, and a great way to enjoy the breathtaking views that are all around us.

Hiking-Spring, Summer & Fall

Hiking is a great outdoor activity, and one that can be enjoyed in solitude or with family and friends. Our miles of trails offer the opportunity to explore forests, meadows and woodlands, and to enjoy nature at its finest. Much like walking, hiking is an excellent exercise for cardiovascular fitness. The trails surrounding Hope Lake and Greek Peak are clearly marked for hiking and graded so that you know the distance and how strenuous each one will be. Each trail gives you something new to explore. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, take an excursion down the Finger Lakes Trail, which stretches more than 560 miles from the PA/NY border in Allegany State Park to the Long Path in the Catskill Forest Preserve. Over 50 miles of the Trail wind their way through Cortland County. www.fingerlakestrail.org

Town of Virgil Hope Lake Park-Summer

Just steps from the Resort, the Town of Virgil Hope Lake Park includes a swimming area with a sandy beach, a large pavilion, charcoal grills and picnic tables. Boating, fishing, hiking and sand volleyball are also available.

June 24th - Labor Day: daily
Labor Day - October: Weekends ONLY for boating, fishing, hiking & picnics 10am-4pm  
The Park's annual July 4th celebration is hosted by the Town of Virgil
