Spring 2008 PE Skiing and Snowboarding

Course Description:

This course will allow for instruction of all levels of downhill skiing and snowboarding.  This class will meet for 6 consecutive Fridays starting January 25th at Greek Peak Mountain Resort.  Each session includes a one hour lesson with practice time available before and after each lesson. Lesson dates are: 1/25,2/1,8,15,22,29.

Course Registration:

MANDATORY COURSE REGISTRATION with the Greek Peak Representative will be held FRIDAY JANUARY 18,2008 AT SHINE CENTER FROM 11AM-3PM.  Skill assessment will be made and the course fee must be paid at this time. Please bring your student ID with you.  Checks, credit cards and cash are acceptable forms of payment.

Season pass w/ PE credit        $75

Course Changes or Drops:

No refunds will be awarded after the Syracuse University official add drop period is over. Bus transportation fee can not ne refunded.

Clothing:

Be sure to dress warm.  It is easier to over dress and remove clothing than lack appropriate clothing.  Wind and water resistant materials work best.  Avoid cotton.

Attendance:

When you arrive at Greek Peak, attendance will be taken.  Failure to sign in will result in you being marked absent from your lesson.  You must attend 6 classes held to receive PED credit.

Make-up:

Students can make-up missed classes by attending any of Greek Peaks scheduled college credit classes. Prior approval must be arranged through geprge@greekpeak.net. No transportation is available for make-up classes.
