School Programs
Activities Based Training "ABT" is an award winning (National Ski Area Association Best Practices) program that uses fun and festive activity courses as a method to improve the skiing/riding abilities of participants. There are three different proficiency levels (Green, Blue & Black) of activities set up for 5 weeks of the 6 week program. Each activity is designed to equip students with the skills needed to efficiently handle whatever the mountain has to offer; be it bumps, glades, steeps, cruisers, terrain park features or varied conditions due to weather. Participants who try the activities will be awarded a small prize at the finish, as well as receive their proficiency sticker. They will also have their passes scanned, automatically entering their names into random weekly and grand prize drawings. Weekly prizes will include T-shirts, Hoodies, Bags, Beanies and more. Grand prize winners can receive skis, snowboards or iPods. First time skiing/riding participants will have traditional beginner lessons for the first two weeks (and every week if needed) at the base of the Alpha slope. This will allow students to learn the fundamental skills needed before attempting any of the activities.

The activity courses will remain in the same locations each week. However, the challenges within each course will vary from week to week. Students, Parents and Advisors can preview the next week's challenges as well as see last week's prize winners both online (www.greekpeak.net) and at the resort. There will be three sign boards posted with activity details and prize winner information at different locations within the base area: one in the bus lane, one upstairs in the Katalima, and one in the rental shop.
Each week we will also be featuring different events for School Programs including Rail Jams, Mogul Challenges, Obstacle Courses and a mini Terrain Park Competition. Prizes will also be awarded for Event Participants.
Program Passes
The "Program Pass" replaces the old coupon system. The Program Pass will be valid from the first week the school is scheduled for the day and the time frame indicated on the pass, until the end of the season. If your school program would like to ski during the day on a holiday or outside of your normal day and time; each student will be asked to pay the Saturday rate.
The Program Pass will include the school name, the day and time of the week, the student's name, their photo, and the bar code, the season, a student ID number, letters indicating ski rental, ski board rental or snowboard rental. The new Program Pass requires the student's picture on the pass.
After the student's program ends, he or she may ski or board free on the day and time of their program. After March 15th, the program pass students can ski any day or time until the end of the season! Activities will not be provided at that time.
ANY PROGRAM PASS HOLDER IS ENTITLED TO BRING A GUEST WHO WILL RECEIVE 20% OFF HIS/HER GUEST'S DAILY LIFT TICKET (LIMITED ONE DISCOUNT PER DAY). PROGRAM PASS PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE 50% OFF DAILY LIFT TICKETS TO GORE AND WHITEFACE MOUNTAINS (NON-HOLIDAYS).
