COOKIE POLICY

Greek Peak Holdings, LLC | Effective Date: September 18, 2026

1. What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Greek Peak Holdings, LLC (“Greek Peak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on websites and online services where Greek Peak controls the deployment of those technologies, including greekpeak.net, thelookout.net, greekpeakweddings.com, and associated subdomains.

This policy covers Greek Peak-deployed tags and scripts, including cookies or tracking technologies deployed through Google Tag Manager, when they are loaded on Greek Peak-controlled pages or subdomains. It does not cover cookies or tracking technologies that a third-party booking or ticketing provider deploys and controls within its own hosted environment. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides a broader description of how we collect and use personal information.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and store certain information about your preferences or activity. Similar technologies include pixels (small image files embedded in web pages or emails), tags (snippets of code loaded by a website), and local storage objects.

Cookies can be:

  • Session cookies: Temporary files deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies: Files that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
  • First-party cookies: Set directly by Greek Peak.
  • Third-party cookies: Set by external service providers whose technology is loaded on our pages.

To learn more about how Google uses data, visit Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s page on “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.” You may download the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for each web browser you use, but this does not prevent the use of other analytics tools. To learn more about Google Analytics cookies, visit Google Analytics Cookie Usage on Websites.

4. Third-Party Booking and Ticketing Platforms

When you click through to reservation, booking, or ticketing platforms, you may be directed to a subdomain or online environment hosted and operated by a third-party technology provider.  Greek Peak-deployed tags, including tags deployed through Google Tag Manager, remain covered by this policy when Greek Peak controls their deployment. Cookies, tags, or similar technologies deployed and controlled by the third-party provider within its hosted environment are governed by that provider’s own cookie and privacy practices, which may differ from ours.

Greek Peak has contractual relationships with third-party booking and ticketing providers that include data privacy terms. Those provider-hosted environments may operate their own cookie and consent management tools, and your preferences in those environments which may differ from the preferences you set on greekpeak.net or thelookout.net.

5. Why We Use Non-Essential Cookies

Statistics cookies help us understand how visitors navigate our website, which pages are most visited, where users encounter friction, and how we can improve the overall experience. Marketing cookies help us measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and ensure that promotional content we serve is relevant to people who have shown interest in our resort.

We activate non-essential cookies only after you make an affirmative choice through our cookie consent interface.

If you select “Accept All” on our cookie consent banner you are making an affirmative choice to enable all cookie categories shown at that time, including any non-essential Functional / Preferences, Statistics, and Marketing categories. Categories are not treated as accepted merely because they are displayed in the banner or because you continue using the website.

6. Your Consent and How to Manage Cookies

6.1 Our Consent Mechanism

When you visit our website, a cookie consent banner is presented before non-essential tracking technologies are activated. You may select “Accept All,”, decline all non-essential categories, or adjust your preferences by category. Your choice is recorded and honored throughout your session and, where supported, on later visits from the same browser.

Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies do not require your consent when they are required for the website or a requested feature to function, including security technologies used to protect forms that rely on them.

6.2 Changing Your Preferences

You can update your cookie preferences at any time by accessing the cookie settings link in the footer of our website. You may also withdraw previously given consent at any time, and non-essential tracking will be deactivated going forward.

6.3 Browser Controls

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect website functionality, including the ability to complete reservations. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers are available through each browser’s help documentation.

6.4 Opt-Out Tools

For marketing cookies specifically, you may also use industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (optout.networkadvertising.org). These tools are provided by third parties and their effectiveness is not guaranteed by Greek Peak.

6.5 Form Security and Functionality

Some website forms may rely on Google reCAPTCHA or a comparable bot-detection tool for security validation, such as the contact form on thelookout.net. Where a form relies on that technology, it may operate as a strictly necessary form-security measure even if you decline non-essential cookies. If you do not wish to use a form that relies on this technology, you may contact us using the contact information provided below.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a Do Not Track signal. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to this signal. Our website does not currently alter its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. Our cookie consent mechanism provides a more reliable and granular way to control tracking on our site.

8. Global Privacy Control

Greek Peak has implemented support for Global Privacy Control on greekpeak.net and thelookout.net. You can use the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) through a supported browser to signal certain of your opt-out preferences. You may opt-out of the processing of your Personal Information for purposes of targeted advertising or certain sales of your personal information by broadcasting the Global Privacy Control Signal through a supported browser. If you use the GPC, we will process your request for your browser, but it will not apply outside of that browser to your device. You will need to use the GPC for each browser you use to access the website If you clear your cookies in your browser after using the GPC, you will need to use the GPC again for us to process your opt out for that browser.

9. Cookies and GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, non-essential cookies, including Statistics and Marketing cookies, are activated only on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR or UK GDPR, as applicable. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Consent withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred prior to withdrawal.

For EEA and UK visitors, we do not rely on legitimate interests to set or access non-essential Statistics or Marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies may be used without consent only where they are required to provide the website or a feature you request, such as form-security technology on forms that rely on it.

10. Retention of Cookie Data

The retention period for data collected through cookies varies by technology and purpose. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies and the data collected through marketing and analytics technologies are subject to the retention periods set by the respective third-party providers, which are described in their own privacy documentation. We do not retain cookie-derived data beyond what is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology stack changes or as legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users or request renewed consent. Continued use of our website alone will not be treated as consent to non-essential cookies.
