CLEANING ATTENDANT – CASCADES INDOOR WATERPARK (EVENINGS)

SUMMARY:

Cascades Indoor Waterpark is seeking a part-time evening cleaning attendant who will work independently after the waterpark is closed. This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the waterpark public spaces to include guest lounging areas & tables, concession dining area, locker rooms, and bathrooms, etc. Must be at least 18 years old and have weekend availability. Employees who work a minimum of 2 shifts per week are eligible for a $15 employee season pass with complimentary rentals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned.)

  1. Clean designated areas (picking up debris, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning tables & chairs, restroom & locker room cleaning, removing garbage, etc.).
  2. Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
  3. Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
  4. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
  5. Make adjustments and minor repairs
  6. Stock and maintain restrooms.
  7. Follow all health and safety regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Candidate must own at a minimum basic hand tools for construction use.

  1. Must be 18 years of age.
  2. Must have weekend availability.
  3. Must be able to work independently.
  4. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety data sheets.
  5. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  6. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  7. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at this time we do not offer H1B sponsorships.
  8. Must be able to lift 50lbs and push 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
