LIFT OPERATOR

Summary: 
Come work where you play throughout the year. Greek Peak Mountain Resort is currently looking for a Lift Operator for our Hill Department. This position is part-time, seasonal and day and evenings are available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned.)

  1. Ensure timely and efficient opening and/or closing procedures of the Chair Lift or Tubing area achieving company safety standards.
  2. Monitor guests on lifts/rides and in line queues, checking for the appropriate passes and tickets in a customer service friendly way.
  3. Performs safety checklist daily before opening ride to patrons.
  4. Provides and practices a safety-oriented environment for participants. Is always aware of surroundings and any change in sound or mechanical issues.
  5. Actively engages with guests to assist in the overall objective of fun and recreation.
  6. Follows established safety procedures.
  7. Provide guests with appropriate information, verbal or written, upon request to promote excellent customer service. Respond to complaints to ensure satisfaction. Greet and speak with our guests in a professional, friendly manner.
  8. Be proactive and look out for any unhappy guests. Use your initiative to solve issues and leave customers feeling valued.
  9. Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to guests, and employees.
  10. Assist Greek Peak Mountain Resort guests with safety instructions, boarding and exiting the Chair Lift.
  11. Utilizes the proper maintenance and timeliness of log books, safety checks and incident reporting.
  12. Complies with all state and federal laws, company policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Must be 18 years of age.
  2. Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills.
  3. Ability to give instructions to guests.
  4. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  5. Ability to work in all elements of weather.
  6. Ability to stand; walk; use hands and reach with hands and arms.
  7. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at this time as we do not offer H1B sponsorships.
  8. Must be able to lift 50lbs and push 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
