You do not need an NSP course number to complete this online portion. Allow yourself 3 to 4 hours to complete.\u00a0 You can take a break at any time and then restart from where you left off.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 After logging into NSP.org, make sure your <strong>contact information<\/strong> is correct, because you will receive an e-mail upon successful completion of this course (no more certificates).\u00a0 You will need to complete this online portion, prior to registering for the in-person skills session (refresher).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>ACCOUNT LOCK-OUTS:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 for questions about account lockouts, password re-sets or general information, please contact NSP Member Services at <a href=\"mailto:memberservices@nsp.org\">memberservices@nsp.org<\/a> or call 303.988.1111 extension 2627 (Mountain Time, Mon-Fri 8 am to 4:30 pm).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>NSP<\/strong> has upgraded to a new online system, &#8220;<strong>Center for Learning<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greekpeak.net\/ski-patrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/NSP_cfl_icon.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1377\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greekpeak.net\/ski-patrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/NSP_cfl_icon-150x150.png\" alt=\"Center for Learning - image\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Here&#8217;s the process&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Log into <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nsp.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">NSP.org<\/a><\/strong>, and you&#8217;ll see the <em><strong>Center for Learning<\/strong><\/em> button at the top of the main page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Center for Learning<\/strong> button (new page will open),<\/li>\n<li>Look for &#8216;<strong>Featured Learning<\/strong>&#8216;&#8230; you may see the &#8216;<strong>online modules<\/strong>&#8216;; go ahead and click on it, if not, proceed to the next step<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Browse Catalog<\/strong> button (new page will open),<\/li>\n<li>Search bar at the top&#8230; type in the <strong>current year<\/strong> (it takes a few seconds for the page to load),<\/li>\n<li>Your page will now show the current year and cycle modules listed,\n<ul>\n<li>look for&#8230; &#8216;<em><strong>OEC Refresher Cycle&#8230;<\/strong> <strong>Online Modules<\/strong><\/em>&#8216;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <b>ENROLL <\/b>button (new page will open),<\/li>\n<li>You should now see the &#8216;online modules&#8217; listed; click on the <strong>Launch<\/strong> button to the right of the course title.<br \/>\n(you can always stop and re-start these modules; just click on the &#8216;resume&#8217; button upon returning)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can now take the online course; you must complete ALL modules to\u00a0achieve 100% completion.\u00a0 You will receive an automated e-mail from <em>NSPcenterforlearning@nsp.org<\/em> after completion&#8230; check your inbox (or spam folder).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em>warning&#8230;<\/em> POP-UPs:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 the <strong>Center for Learning<\/strong> site utilizes pop-up windows.\u00a0 Most browsers by default block websites from opening pop-up windows.\u00a0 You will have to disable this feature in your browser by making it allowable for &#8216;learning.nsp.org&#8217; to pop-up.\u00a0 Instructions will be provided at the beginning of the course on how to do this.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Once completed, close out of ALL your browser windows and then start the course.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You will now see your courses under the <strong>Featured Learning<\/strong> area..<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>click on the picture for the online modules<\/li>\n<li>then click on Enroll, then on the <strong>Launch<\/strong> button, and start the online modules.<\/li>\n<li><em>This online training is a refresher&#8230; not a pass\/fail course.<\/em><br \/>\nYou will have two attempts to answer all the questions and proceed forward.<\/li>\n<li>Most slides are interactive and must be completed prior to clicking onto the NEXT slide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greekpeak.net\/ski-patrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/module-instructions.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1393 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greekpeak.net\/ski-patrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/module-instructions-300x159.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"159\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greekpeak.net\/ski-patrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/module-instructions-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/www.greekpeak.net\/ski-patrol\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/module-instructions.png 486w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>After completing the online portion, you can now register for the skills session (but no sooner).<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0c4080;\">Register for the in-person skills session<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Repeat the same steps from above to:<br \/>\nsearch, enroll, for the skills course (refresher).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Browse Catalog<\/strong> button (new page will open),<\/li>\n<li>Type in the <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>current year<\/strong><\/span> in the search bar at the top,<\/li>\n<li>Your page will now show the current year and cycle modules listed&#8230; &#8216;<em>OEC Refresher Cycle..<\/em>. <em>&#8211; Skills Session&#8217;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Choose Session<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>Then click on the drop-down menu &#8216;<strong>All locations<\/strong>&#8216;, search for Greek Peak<br \/>\n(or whatever mountain you&#8217;ll be doing your skills refresher at).<\/li>\n<li>Once Greek Peak shows, click on <strong>ENROLL<\/strong>.\u00a0 A flash-menu will show at the stop of your screen stating, &#8220;enrolled.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NOTE:\u00a0<\/strong> there are no &#8216;course numbers&#8217;
