What is NASTAR?

Due to Covid-19 their will be maximum capacity limits for racing events.  Racers are expected to physical distance and wear face covering while on Greek Peak property with the exception of when they are racing on course. Spectators must maintain a physical distance of at least 6 six feet and wear face coverings at all times when on Greek Peak property.

National Standard Race or NASTAR is the largest public recreational ski race program in the world. Since in 1968, NASTAR, currently sponsored by Liberty Mutual, allows skiers to see how they rank against the US Ski Team. Racers win Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals depending on the handicap earned in their age and gender category each time they race NASTAR. The results are posted on NASTAR is held Saturdays and Sundays on Christy’s Run.

Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am – 1:30pm

  • $7.00 – 2 medal runs
  • $2.00 – non medal or additional run
  • $4.00 – 2 medal runs Junior’s (14 and under)

Getting Started

If you are new to the Liberty Mutual NASTAR experience, you can register online to race any time during the year.

If you have raced Liberty Mutual NASTAR since 1997, there’s no need to register again – we know who you are! You can quickly verify that you’re in the NASTAR database by searching for your name using the search icon at the top right of their homepage. However, we strongly suggest you log in to verify the personal information on your Race Record is complete and accurate prior to the start of the season.

To avoid confusion, when racing at any resort, simply pay your entry fee, give the starter your NASTAR Registration Number, and off you go. Did you forget your number? No problem – enter your name using the search icon at the top right of the NASTAR homepage, and you’ll see it listed next to your name. It is also noted on your Race Record. Now you’ll never have to worry about forgetting it again!
