February 2, 2026

CORTLAND, New York (February 2, 2025) – Central New York’s home mountain, Greek Peak Mountain Resort, will host Shred the Night, a 24-hour nonstop ski and snowboard challenge benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), Saturday, February 28 through Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Participants will ski or ride from sunrise to sunrise while raising critical funds that support life-saving cystic fibrosis research, innovative treatments, and direct support for families in our community.

“Greek Peak has always been about bringing people together on the mountain, and Shred the Night is a powerful example of that,” said Wes Kryger, President of Greek Peak Mountain Resort. “Spending a full 24 hours skiing and riding for a cause is an incredible challenge, and we’re proud to host this event and invite our community to join us in raising funds that help move CFF’s mission forward.”

Designed as both an endurance event and a fundraiser, Shred the Night features competition categories for individuals, teams of two, and teams of four, with awards for most runs through the night and top fundraising teams. The event will also include an après-ski party with DJ, plus breakfast and awards the following morning.

Registration requires a participant event ticket and a valid Greek Peak lift ticket or season pass. Fundraising minimums are $25 (individual), $50 (duo), and $100 (quad), with additional rewards and official event t-shirts available at higher fundraising levels. Proceeds will support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, with the event working toward a $30,000 fundraising goal.
